VENEZUELA Reports of Affiliates and Committees of The World Calendar Association, International, presented at the Ninth Annual Meeting 16 January 1956, reflect the world-wide interest in and need for calendar reform. Published highlights (JCR Vol. 25, Dec. 1955 - Jan. 1956) for the VENEZUELA: The new Committee formed this year under the chairmanship of Senio Manuel Ramirez of Maracay has been most active in promoting The World Calendar in that country. A series of articles--one written by the Chairman himself--appeared in the weekly publication Ultima Hora during July, August, September, and October. Material was sent to the press throughout the country as well as to important individuals in government and other fields.
